Scully

Sarcoma

Scully, a retired Aussie athlete (agility), was diagnosed with a large, advanced sarcoma within his chest in October of 2016 by Dr. Brinson, an internal medicine specialist, and surgeon Dr. Hurley. With the guidance of Dr. Custead, one of our oncologist, Scully started on oral, low-dose chemotherapy, also called metronomic chemotherapy, with the goal that he would live an additional 4-6 months. A year later, we are celebrating his cancer diagnosis anniversary. He is doing great at home! He is happy and energetic. We couldn’t be happier for Scully. We wish him and his family many more months of play.
