Laryngeal Paralysis

Say hi to Bodgit!  He's a 16 year old domestic short hair cat that came to WVRC - Grafton 24 Hour Vet Services for non-productive coughing and open mouth stridorous breathing. He was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis which is very uncommon in cats. Dr. Jeffrey Meinen performed a tie back surgery (unilateral cricoartytenoid lateralization). We are thrilled to report that Bodgit is now breathing normally and was sent home to his family.
