Abner, an almost 4 year old male neutered American Cocker Spaniel, that came to our WVRC Racine animal hospital after being diagnosed with liver disease. His liver disease was so bad that he needed a plasma transfusion in order to prevent him from bleeding. He spent the whole weekend with our ER vets, Dr. York-Miller and Dr. Wiedmeyer, managing his treatments and caring for him closely. After intensive hospitalization, Abner is well on the way to recovery. While in the hospital, Abner’s owner, Kristine, brought his close friends from home and obviously they were a huge comfort to him! We are happy you are doing well Abner!
