Education:

In 1993, Dr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and his DVM degree at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.  His specialty is Emergency/Critical Care medicine.

Experience:

From 1993 - 1994, Dr. Johnson completed his Small Animal Medicine Internship (Surgery and Emergency) at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio.

Dr. Johnson was a staff Veterinarian from 1994 - 1997 at Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.  From 1997 - 1999 he was a Manager of Clinical Affairs/Medical and Technical Consultation for Sensor Devices Incorporated/Heska Corporation in Waukesha, Wisconsin/Fort Collins, Colorado.

From 1999 - 2000 Dr. Johnson was the Director of Clinical Support and Service for Scil Animal Care Company in Grayslake, Illinois.

Dr. Johnson has been providing Emergency Services for WVRC since 2000.
