- NEW FOR 2016 -

The Milwaukee Veterinary Medical Association invites all DVMs, CVTs, and support staff to:

Compassion Fatigue: Action Steps for Healing

Building off of last October’s MVMA CE, we will have a brief review of compassion fatigue and its “cousin,” burnout, and focus on what we can do for our own personal healing and to heal our veterinary practices. We will explore some personal exercises that can help lead to a more satisfying personal and professional life. We will also learn the laws governing a healthy workplace — because no matter how well we are doing personally, being around others with compassion fatigue at work can become a vicious cycle. We will also look at data provided by a compassion fatigue survey and review how other practices have addressed compassion fatigue.
